AscendProse is operated by Lumina Quartz LLC (“AscendProse,” “we,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you visit ascendprose.com, subscribe to research updates, or submit an AI software product for consideration. Information we receive
- Product submissions: product name, official website URL, category, selected package, contact email, submission date, and order or service status. We use a shortened or anonymized network address in the stored submission record and temporary rate-limiting information to prevent abuse.
- Research subscriptions: email address, signup location, consent record, subscription status, and an unsubscribe token. We use network information briefly for rate limiting but do not keep the full address in the subscriber record.
- Communications and comments: information you send us by email or provide through any enabled comment feature, together with technical information needed to deliver or moderate the interaction.
- Website usage: technical information such as browser type, pages requested, approximate location inferred from an IP address, and security or analytics events. Google Site Kit loads a Google tag on the website. Cookies or similar technologies may be used for site functions, analytics, and security.
- Paid orders, when checkout is available: Creem processes payments. We receive identifiers and status information needed to manage orders, subscriptions, fulfillment, refunds, or disputes. We do not receive or store full payment-card numbers in our WordPress submission records.
Why we use information
We use information to operate and secure the website; prevent spam and abuse; evaluate product submissions; provide purchased review or sponsorship services; communicate about orders and fulfillment; send research updates requested by subscribers; maintain transaction records; and understand site usage. Automated research and drafting tools may analyze a submitted product’s name, category, public website URL, and publicly available source material. A submitter’s private contact email is not used as article content.
Service providers and external sites
Hosting and security providers help us serve and protect the website. Google provides website analytics through Site Kit. Resend delivers operational and subscription email. Creem handles checkout and billing when paid checkout is available. An AI service provider may process public product details and source material for research and draft preparation. These providers handle information under their own applicable terms and privacy notices. If you follow an outbound vendor or affiliate link, that destination has its own privacy practices. Information may be processed in countries other than your own.
Research-email choices
We use a subscription email address for research updates after a person signs up for them. Research emails include an unsubscribe option. Unsubscribing stops future research updates but does not prevent necessary order or service messages. You may also request removal by emailing [email protected].
Retention and security
We keep subscription and submission records while needed to provide the requested service, manage billing or disputes, meet applicable recordkeeping requirements, and respond to legitimate requests. An unsubscribed address may remain in a suppression record so we can honor that choice. Server logs and temporary rate-limit records can have different retention periods. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Your requests
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain uses. Send a request to [email protected]. We may need to verify a request and may retain information where required by law or necessary to resolve a transaction or dispute. Browser settings can also be used to manage cookies, although disabling some cookies may affect site features.
Changes
We may update this policy when our services or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. We will communicate material changes when required by applicable law.
